Do you know what they say? They say that taking pictures of the sky is overrated and I don't blame them because it is. But I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be?
I mean, you look at the sky and you see so many gorgeous shades of it. Not only that, you see the sun, the stars, the moon, the birds flying to their homes
It holds a lot of emotions and passion and warmth.
Have you ever laid down on the grass and looked upon the sky and felt that the clouds are a blanket covering the stories of your soul? You connect with them like a lonely kid who has finally gotten a new friend and cannot express the excitement, the kid who can not wait to unburden his misery to his new friend and feel free like the sky again
Have you admired the sky, the clouds like a little girl admires flowers like a grandmother admires the silly actions of her grandchild because it reminds her of the innocence, the purity that those little actions hold? The innocence and purity that the clouds bring when you look at them and try to relate more than you should
But you know, it's not always the glitter and rainbows.
Some clouds hold tears and they roll down your cheeks like the first drop of rain rolling down the leaves of a teak tree and the sun after the rain does not bring the rainbow reminding you about the beautiful hues of life, rather it brings the fear of tomorrow's hurricane and the destruction it might cause.
They say if there's heaven it's above our head and below our feet but if there's hell it's hidden in the dilemmas of our hearts and we tend to ignore it for no good reason.
And so, before you go, before you leave little to no traces behind.
Before you get lost in the sky of sensitivities,
Take a deep breath, live, and fly to your homes like those birds and clouds chasing each other as if they have been looking and searching for one thing, for one home and that thing, that home, is this sky of freedom.
