What changes a woman
Is it the age, the pace
Or it's a matter of simple grace
What changes a woman
A question so simple
I must dig deep
The answer lies at the surface or is buried deep
Age it must not
For I have seen
Much aged act young
And young being particularly keen
Let's test the theory of pace
Pace often reflects on the face
It reflects through wrinkles and dark circles
The outcomes of an undying race
Is a woman just her face
A withered outcome of a race
Or is she the soul within
Shouldn't that be, where we begin
She is the soul that loves you no matter the colour we
She is the one that bears you no matter your career
Then what changes a woman must be her past
Her burdens, her agonies, her sufferings agast
Don't worry my dear girl, for I have seen
The beauty you hold in your soul within
Just keep your head, held up high
The problems of the world would just pass by
The day will come to have patience not haste
They will see you and not just your face
Emerging through pain without a trace
You will never wither away and neither your grace.
